Welcome to Steplee (also referred to as “Steplee,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Steplee mobile application, website, or related services (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Steplee grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms and applicable laws.
Steplee is a walking and couples activity app that lets users track their daily steps, compete with their partner or friends, and stay motivated through shared challenges. The Service may show activity data and step counts in real time.
You are responsible for any activity under your account and for keeping your device secure. You agree not to misuse the Service, including attempting to access it in unauthorized ways or interfering with other users.
Purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple. Refund requests are subject to Apple’s Media Services terms and refund policies, and must be submitted to Apple.
You consent to receive notifications related to your reminders. You can turn notifications off in your device settings, but this may limit key features.
If you create content (e.g., reminder titles or notes), you retain ownership. You grant Steplee a limited license to process that content to provide the Service.
All rights, title, and interest in the Service, including software, design, and branding, belong to Steplee or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the Service.
You agree not to use the Service for unlawful or harmful purposes, reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code, disrupt or overload the Service, or use automated means to access the Service without our permission.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that reminders will always be delivered on time (e.g., due to device settings, network issues, or system limitations).
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Steplee will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if required by law. You may stop using the Service at any time.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice as required by law. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to conflict of law rules.
